TranslationZilla V2.0 released – now you can check your answers

April 3rd, 2010

Dear All,

You may not know this, but the first version of TranslationZilla was brought to you by only three people – a programmer, a marketing guy and a (part-time) language project manager. All of us have full-time jobs and currently run TZ on a part-time basis.

More recently we worked with a number of additional freelancers to improve our product. Currently our team is spread around the globe, working from Australia, China, New Zealand and Italy.

Our vision is to bring you a new kind of language learning experience. To take us one step closer to this vision, we have released our latest language learning platform today. Here are some details:

We have a new look :)

We worked with a graphics designer to help us create
a new look for TranslationZilla. Please let us know what
you think!

1000+ vocabulary words and 12 languages supported now

We have expanded our word list to 1000+ and now support 12 languages. TranslationZilla now supports English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, Russian and Hindi.

Avatars and User profiles

You probably all saw the movie :) Well we decided
to make the user experience more fun as well – you
can now select your own avatars when creating
a user profile.

‘RollingZilla’ FLASH game

Please try our new RollingZilla flash game, which
is our latest language learning game.

Check Answers (VIP feature)

You asked for it and we listened! You can now
check your answers if you become a VIP member
with our website. To become a VIP you either
invite friends to join, or pay us a monthly
subscription. Why have a paid VIP option?
Two reasons: 1) It is expensive to continue to develop
new versions of TranslationZilla 2) Having people
pay real money is a good proof to us that we
are creating a valuable service.
